Zorin OS is an Ubuntu-based Linux distribution designed especially for newcomers to Linux. It has a Windows-like graphical user interface and many programs similar to those found in Windows. Zorin OS also comes with an application that lets users run many Windows programs. The distribution's ultimate goal is to provide a Linux alternative to Windows and let Windows users enjoy all the features of Linux without complications.

 I install the lite version on my desktop computer with no problem and I am impressed with the ease of use and the speed of my computer since the install its been excellent I am very highly impressed with Zorin Lite 12.3

 It's pretty hard to have any good thoughts on this OS when (1) you can't load it and (2) there is no step by step instruction with perhaps a section called What to do if this doesn't work.
I downloaded Zorin 9 , got a light blue screen and a text help screen but none of the help offered worked. Then I downloaded Zorin 12.3 . Couldn't even get a help screen. Then I purchased Zorin 12.3 and got a message of an unknown keyword in configuration file followed by non alpha numeric characters. When I received the DVD it said they would be glad to answer any questions but when I went to the web page and entered my problem I got nothing that could be of help. I don't doubt that once it is loaded it may be a fine OS but through this ordeal I gained a greater appreciation of how slick the Windows OS versions install.

 Downloaded it to install on my parents PC because they suck with computers and Puppy Linux was too different from Windows. I was amazed, and even wanted to use it myself. ZorinOS is way faster than Linux Mint or Puppy Linux and user-friendly.
