Whether Linux mint or mx linux, they all did this. But Pardus did not fill it with unnecessary junk. xfce keeps the simplicity and lightness of the desktop This gave Pardus intuitiveness and speed compared to other distributions. It was faster and more stable than many distributions I've tried. It is a Linux distribution that is both flashy and simple. It has a nice and cool looking store where you can keep track of your updates and easily download programs. It is very simple to use and is as stable as it is simple. If you are tired of popular distributions and their problems I think you should give it a chance I loved you like it too Was this review helpful? Yes No Version: 23.0 Rating: 10 Date: 2023-09-04 Votes: 11 Version 23 of Pardus elevates it even higher as a beginner-friendly and polished distro. It has the polish of Ubuntu and a more stable Debian base, without Ubuntu's awful snaps. With version 23 the GNOME flavour of Pardus has become also a good competitor to ZorinOS, as it features a revamped welcome screen with a layout switcher, which includes 6 layouts, unlike ZorinOS which locks half of them behind a paywall. This in turn makes you spend less time downloading extensions and configuring your interface. The version of GNOME it comes with is 43.6 with a default theme, which I do think is a nice theme, and it's worth noting that Gnome has become very difficult to theme yourself. In general, you barely notice any differences under the hood, because Pardus 23 works as flawlessly as Pardus 21.5 did. Most of the changes you will notice are visual and QoL improvements. And in these aspects, it excels, coming with simple and coherent UI and just enough custom tools to make your life easier without overwhelming you (MX Linux, I'm looking at you). The Software Center has strangely lost a few applications compared to the previous versions, but still remains one of the best I've seen. Unfortunately, Flatpak is still not pre-installed. Although some people might prefer it this way. There isn't much else to say about this release, as it simply continues to deliver the most stable and user-friendly experience that just works out of the box, further solidifying Pardus as the best choice for an average user. I’ve been looking across the board for a really simple but usable Linux distribution. And of of course straight forward to install and set-up etc. This must be a preliminary report but Pardus Linux is so very impressive in these areas and rock-solid given the above constraints. It says here that I have to offer more text comments as we need 250 characters. There is so much to say about the difference between the impression you get when installing and initially using Pardus Linux.
