Table Notes and Explanations

(Please refer to the table below.)
  • Select view:
  • To compare the software in this project to the software available in other distributions, please see our Compare Packages page.
  • Notes: In case where multiple versions of a package are shipped with a distribution, only the default version appears in the table. For indication about the GNOME version, please check the "nautilus" and "gnome-shell" packages. The Apache web server is listed as "httpd" and the Linux kernel is listed as "linux". The KDE desktop is represented by the "plasma-desktop" package and the Xfce desktop by the "xfdesktop" package.
  • Colour scheme: green text = latest stable version, red text = development or beta version. The function determining beta versions is not 100% reliable due to a wide variety of versioning schemes.

I took a test drive of Morpheus. Everything looks good and simple. Now I've got it on a USB drive as a rescue disk if something goes wrong with my Antergos KDE build. I will re-review this distro if/when that day comes.

New version : 2015.4.
Again : very nice!

No official changelog but first findings are : booting is easier; no longer "systemctl" required. Wired Network now works out of the box. And all packages are upgraded.

The author comfirms that there will never be a way to install MorpheusArch on hard disk. Feel it's a pity and hope one day he'll change his mind ....

Again : I like this combination of Arch and LXQT.

Very nice distro.

Got same problems to log in but "MorpheusArchDocumentation-converted.pdf" answered all my questions.

Data recovery is maybe not my first aim, but sometimes is very helpful. It's a pity the author writes one should not use it as a "normal" distro one can use on a daily basis. And so doesn't provide an easy means (Calamares?) to install it on hard disk.

I find it is a really simple distribution to work with and not at all that heavy!

A forum where to ask questions is missing ...

I like the combination of Arch and LXQT. Guess (am nor sure) this MorpheusArchLXQT is the first to appear.
