 after last update/upgrade system tray conky that measures ram usage has doubled,htop,btop and task manager show accurate ram usage,trying to fix this issue has been problematic,i,m hoping developers will address this issue,on a new installation of mabox on a different laptop theres a seperate issue,the cursor changes size and color when i open up a browser,any browser,i prefer brave but tried different browser and issue still occurs.trying to contact mabox through forum is a joke.i,ve enjoyed mabox for 3yrs up until recently,am looking at bodhi,archcraft,omarchy and eco os,all of which offer lightweight systems,tired of having to fix problems i didn,t create.i,ve always rated mabox a ten,however since recent update and no fixes in sight i,m giving them a 4.

 This distribution is completely convincing and offers arguably the most configuration options a user can have. Installation is quite quick and problem-free. The built-in software manager offers everything needed for daily use for further installation. The entire system uses very little RAM, and applications launch very quickly. The configuration options are initially overwhelming, but with a little time, you can adapt the system to your own needs. It's fun to work with the distribution. Thumbs up for something so great!

 I've installed Mabox on my main PC and after few days I can say that it isn't for me. Like may other distros it will offer a decent amount of apps, some of them are less known, some of them are well established. However it is the interface that I have most problems with. I used to use fluxbox with Slackware and it was OK, lxde on OpenSuse and never had a problem setting things up. It was in one place, either editing config files or using gui.
In Mabox, the Openbox is not a "pure" OpenBox. They've added Conky, some taskbar (Tilt?), and other gimmicks.
I do not understand why you need to have several menus/tools to configure a colour of menu items (Colorizer and other). It is just a mess.
Lets say you want to change audio source, so you click on speaker icon, but you can only mute or open internet radio. Audio source settings are hidden under some other menus.
The Conker desktop widgets can't be set precisely to a given location, even when you click on free movement.
Several menus to do simple things like font change, multiple application to install software (and some of them don't work).

A simple DE should be simple. Not only to configure but to use as well. The Mabox desktop , although cool looking, is getting in the way and I can not recommend this to use daily. Maybe as a showoff, so that you can post images if your cool looking hacker desktop:)
