Version Standard choisie : inclu Steam avec Proton-GE préconfiguré, Heroic, Lutris, Drivers MESA à jour. Même Mangohud est préconfiguré pour afficher ou non un overlay plus ou moins complet en jeux. Distribution faite par et pour des joueurs. Gros points forts supplémentaires : - Base Nix très stable - Chaque modification génère une nouvelle image de l'OS, ce qui permet de revenir en arrière très facilement. - Mises à jour et nettoyage du système automatiques - Bon compromis entre actualisations fréquentes des drivers / appli gaming, et un rythme plus lent pour le noyau Linux, afin d'éviter les mises à jour problématiques Ma config : Ryzen 7 5700X3D Asus Rog Strix-A B550 RX 7800 XT 32 Go DDR4 3200 Tellement satisfait que je trouve normal d'être devenu membre soutien Patreon de cette bien belle histoire. En tout cas, aucun regret d'avoir abandonné windows 11. Hâte de voir les futures améliorations apportées, mais Phoenix Pulsar est déjà Ok pour la migration vers Linux. Installation en 20 min, pilotes NVIDIA/AMD, Steam, Lutris et ProtonGE déjà prêts. Pas de bidouille : on installe, on redémarre, on joue. Noyau optimisé, Gnome/KDE fluide, outils intégrés pour manettes/audio. Performances proches de Windows, même sur RTX et AMD. Communauté active, mises à jour fréquentes. Idéale pour débutants ou gamers pressés. Le vrai "ça marche direct" sous Linux. Seuls bémols : doc légère. 10/10 – à tester absolument ! Cette distro rivalise CachyOS. Was this review helpful? Yes No Version: 26.05 Rating: 10 Date: 2026-02-26 Country: France Votes: 5 I discovered this distro by pure luck, didn't appealed to me at first, then I tried it and I'm convinced!! It is based on NixOS, with few bundle choice for preinstalled programs : - mini which is not programs preinstalled (just use NixOS then) - gaming : steam and all preinstalled, protonGE, support for controllers, steering wheel etc out of the box, very easy for gamers to start, also mangohud, openRGB, and even tool for streamdeck (I dont have one to try sorry). - studio : (didn't try but )gaming but with content creators tools like davinci resolve ready NixOS is a known as very advanced distro but with GLF you can still be somewhat a beginner and have a good time, there is a flatpak store GUI preinstalled, but if you are an advanced user, you can still do anything you'd do with NixOS like installing a WM and rice it :D Also they've done a great job with Nix Disk which let you set auto-mount disks with a simple to use GUI. It comes with a choice between a custom gnome and a vanilla KDE, with also a simple GUI to switch between the 2 !
