 if you are looking for a lightweight implementation of gnome under Debian this may be it !. With it's color schemes and task bar along the top labeling the active app reminded me a little of unbuntu-unity. It seems lighter and snappier than a couple of the other dock [MAC like] based distros' wms' i have tried (ie. Voyager & Soplos)

A couple of little gotcha's

i. apt update fails on initramfs : this might have been solved by downgrading the kernel from 6.1.0-40-amd64, but the root cause seemed to be taken care of by apt purge raspi-firmware when reinstalling the kernel did not work.

ii. for some reason apt tried to `guess` what my keyboard was (i took default on install) so i ended up doing
`setxkbmap pc-105`

i very nice looking minimalist linux distro, which has no bloat (i can detect). I have no interest in snaps, and little in flatpak's but prefer firefox so was pleased it had version 143 out of the gate. Often i get forced into using firefox-esr in some of these debian distros. The iso size of 2.8G for this level of functionality is really amazing.
