From the trustix.com web site: "The Trustix Board of Directors decided to file for bankruptcy on the last week of September, 2003. We therefore regret to inform you that all sales and support of the Trustix Linux Solutions product line will be suspended until further notice. After declining sales due to very challenging market conditions in 2003, the Trustix Board of Directors initiated talks with several potential acquisition partners during second and third quarters of 2003. However, this did not yield a satisfactory result and Trustix AS filed for bankruptcy on the 29th of September 2003, according to Norwegian law." From the official announcement released by Trustix Secure Linux: "This is the announcement for Trustix Secure Linux 2.0 release candidate 1, nickname 'Thunder'. We firmly believe this to be a suitable release candidate, but expect that some issues may be discovered when more users commence testing, and testing grows in intensity. We have gotten very valuable response from the beta testing, and expect the response on this release to be equally esteemed. You will probably not be able to swup-upgrade to it from earlier betas, except Beta 3, and for the quality of the testing, a plain reinstall is still recommended.
