FoRK is a KNOPPIX-based live CD designed for use as a forensic imaging and previewing tool. A new bug-fix version was released today: "The FoRK development team has taken time out from their beta testing of version 1.0.4, in response to demand for the features promised in FoRK 1.0.2 (which was withdrawn when a bug in the network acquisition module was found), to test and release a bugfix version. Version 1.0.2.01 has had the acquisition interface tested in a variety of scenarios to ensure there are no more bugs. Members may download FoRK 1.0.2.01 from the download section." 3CX Phone System is a specialist, Debian-based Linux distribution designed to run a complete unified communications platform. The 3CX client, included in the distribution, can also be installed separately on most hardware as well as the cloud. It provides a complete open standards-based IP PBX and phone system that works with popular SIP trunks and IP phones. It will automatically configure all supported peripherals and it also comes with clients for Windows, OS X, iOS and Android. The ISO image includes a free license for the 3CX PBX edition. The ISO image contains the standard Debian installer which installs a minimal system with the nginx web server, PostgreSQL database, iptables firewall and Secure Shell. PelandukOS
PelandukOS is a desktop Linux distribution based on Debian's "Testing" branch and featuring the GNOME desktop. It supports installation of extra software in various formats, including the native DEB packages, as well as packages created by AppImage, Flatpak and snap technologies. The distribution uses the Calamares system installer and also includes the Steam launcher (a minimal Steam gaming client with a self-update mechanism that can download the full client) and WPS Office (an all-in-one, AI-powered office suite with MS Office compatibility).
