FreeBSD publishes third quarter Status Report |

The FreeBSD project has published its Quarterly Status Report for July through October of 2025. The project is making progress in its unified system management tool (called Sylve), sleep/suspend support, and laptop hardware support. "Framework Computer Inc. is very supportive of the FreeBSD project in many ways, including providing engineering samples to the Foundation for testing and working on compatibility. The Foundation continues to work on improving overall laptop support, and Framework laptops are one of the target platforms for the Laptop Support and Usability Project."
