Debian Sid ou Unstable est une bonne distribution qui me convient Bien, car les mises à jour sont quotidiennes et il suffit d'utiliser Apt-Listbugs pour se prémunir contre les Bogues éventuels. windows 10 est sur le point de foutre le con et les distributions GNU/ LINUX sont la parade idéale pour ne Pas jeter son LAPTOP... Sinon, LES distributions dérivées de DEBIAN à l'instar d'UBUNTU, Linux Mint, Ubuntu édition ou LINUX Mint Debian Édition ainsi que ZorinOS sont là pour remplacer et facilement WINDOWS en général!!!

Very easy to install using the graphical installer. Synaptic worked fine. Had to add Software to access flatpaks from a graphical interface. I was then able to add extra flatpak software. The live distro ran well until I wanted to add a firewall utility, it had problems with dependencies but when I installed the distro there were no problems adding the GUFW firewall graphical interface after installation.
I took the default disk partitions which did not leave a separate "Home" partition but as I keep most of my files on a separate USB hard disk, if I lost the Root partition and Home files I would loose very little user data. There have been some minor funny things which occur such as the paste in Librecalc does not always copy and paste formulas correctly. Using Control C and Control V pasted the formula correctly whereas the paste with the mouse and drop down menu failed. The browser FloorP freezes and had to be killed. I wanted to connect to a network printer by wifi and had to install CUPS and open CUPS in a browser. In MX-Linux with a XFCE desktop a printer dialog box opened and showed me the network printer and all I had to to do was select the printer and I could use it.
The software updates are performed using Synaptic and work well,
Overall this distro works well and although it uses the unstable Debian branch in over a week I have not had the system crash, it seems Xebian is very reliable. I intend to use it as my daily distro.

The best out of the box Debian + Xfce "distro" straight from the Xubuntu/Core dev team, writing distro that way because Xebian is a blend more than a distro, it uses all the official Debian repositories (non-free excluded by default) plus some from the Xebian team just for visual customizations.
I've been using it on and off for years and I've talked to the devs many times about things I'd loved to see different and it was always a pleasure, very responsive and understanding.
The decision to keep Trixie as well as Unstable was outstanding in my opinion (that was one of the things I talked about with the devs), there is always a way to go Unstable but it's not always a perfect job going the other way.
While I always use the main base for stable installation, the Xebian ISO will always be in my USB drive, perfect for testing, recovering, showing Xfce to other people and whatever you can think of.
