I agree with the previous two comments.
I regularly trash my bootloader by persistent distrohopping, either because some distros use less than straightforward installers or more likely I insist on using installing the bootloader to the MBR rather than an EFI partition and there is some clash of interest. So, as the others have more or less said, I'm my own worst enemy.
The point being, SuperGrubDisk continues to get me out of trouble on a regular basis.
Because I can't submit this review until I write 500 words, let me tell you about how Testdisk saved me recently after a particular bespoke installer trashed my partition information(Thanks Fluxuan dev!). Another lifesaver if you ask me.
This can be a lifesaver, and would be a good tool for any system administrator to keep at hand.
I routinely use Debian Unstable. Yesterday an update to GRUB had a bug, and my system wouldn't boot. Fortunately everything else was intact. The usual advice is to boot using an installation image, and use that to re-install Grub2, but this didn't work for some reason. I was able to boot my system with the Super Grub2 image, then apply a new update that fixed the bug with GRUB.
In the past, I've used this when sorting out issues with multiple operating systems on physical partitions.
I have a bad habit of not leaving well enough alone. I screw around with stuff until I can no longer boot and still am not ready to gram my cloned image to make things like they used to be. Super Grub has saved me so many times I can't count them all.
Super Grub is a great tool to keep in your first-aid kit. I have 3 USB sticks with various tools in my first-aid kit and fortunately (unfortunately) this gets used most frequently. Were it not for Super Grub I would be spending a lot of time cloning disk images before a user (me) messed things up.
Also helped after linux installation erased windows boot loader. Just used balena etcher to make a bootable Super Grub2 Disk and got my windows 10 OS back.

I have used SuperGrub2 many times in my testing to rescue a corrupted GRUB menu. There is nothing else I know of which can match its performance!
