I like Subgraph even more than Qubes OS. But like the other reviewer said, it IS in Alpha so you can't rely on it for any actual anonymity or security. Unlike Qubes, it appears you don't need any special hardware to run it. I don't think the hardware specifications are high at all. I can run it on Apple hardware just fine. I think this will prove to be the, or one of the best security focused desktop operating systems in the future. An OS should be designed by default to protect users against highly powerful adversaries. Subgraph OS attempts this. I just really, really want to see a beta release of Subgraph. Like the other reviewer said, I really, really hope this project continues to develop. I look forward to using Subgraph as by primary OS.
So far this seems very promising. Sadly it is still clearly in ALPHA state. So you can't really rely on it with guarantees, yet. I checked out this OS when it just came out, which was about 8 months ago and sadly since then I don't see any progress, yet. I hope we will see a new and much more improved release this year, still. If not, then my rating will go down by 1 point each year when there's no new release out.
I really hope this project will live on and develop. Because the potential is very high not only because the team is featuring experts. I suggest you look up this product's homepage and check out the vision and additional information.
