Feature-packed with an enviable array of advanced firewall and router functions, including IPS, content filtering, application control, anti-virus, deep-packet inspection, anti-spam and more combined with a router, firewall, DNS server and other advanced networking functions. Includes a wide-array of reporting capabilities and easy Web-based management. Despite this, my use has been plagued with problems so sever as to preclude it's wide-spread implementation. Primarily: performance. It's slow. Real slow. I have it running on a quad-core Intel i5 with 8GB of memory and it is incapable of routing traffic over 20Mbps. It doesn't even matter if ALL functions, other than routing are turned off (no AV, no IPS, no firewall, no anything except routing) and it chugs right along at 20Mbps, routing no faster. The CPU usage isn't pegged, the memory isn't full, it's just slow. Secondarily, some things that relatively simple, like DNS, are painfully convoluted to configure. It's really close to being an amazing piece of software. Close, but not quite there.
