I tried Melawy and it was a pleasant surprise. This distro, based on Arch, uses the alternative XanMod kernel and I must say that, despite my PC with limited resources (4 GB of RAM), the system is very fluid and I have not noticed any particular problems. It uses Kde Plasma as the Desktop Environment, but modified and customized, with a very pleasant and elegant aesthetic result. It is also recommended for users with little experience of Arch because, once installed, it has everything needed for use without additional programs to download: in fact the range of applications is enormous. Among the features of this distro are the Calameres installer, which is very easy to use, and a customized rEFInd boot manager.
Pros: Ease of use, even for those who are not very familiar with Arch, personalized and very elegant DE, almost complete set of applications, for daily use.
Cons: I didn't find any problems, only the startup is a bit slow , a point to work on.
Definitely recommended.
