Pardus
Pardus is a Turkish Linux distribution developed by Software Technologies Research Institute (YTE) of the Scientific Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK). It is based on Debian's "Stable" branch. The project prioritises the adoption of open-source and free software within the public sector, aligning with Debian's guiding principles which promise to keep the distribution and all of its components free according to Debian Free Software Guidelines. Pardus provides two separate desktop variants with GNOME or Xfce desktop, as well as a specialist edition for server deployments.
