0Linux
0linux was a French Linux distribution built from scratch. Designed mainly for French-speaking and moderately technical users, 0Linux provides a minimalist installation CD, a text-mode installer program, and over 1,400 packages in its online repository. 0Linux uses custom package management commands for installing (spackadd) and removing (spackrm) the distribution's *.spack packages and a separate utility (0g) for installing a group of packages and their dependences with one command. 0Linux also includes a number of home-made tools, all starting with a "0" (e.g. 0bureau for choosing the preferred desktop environment), to configure various aspects of the system.

Michael Zoon has announced the release of XigmaNAS 12.2.0.4, a new stable snapshot of the project's embedded, open-source NAS (Network-Attached Storage) distribution based on FreeBSD. This is major update and the first released built on top of FreeBSD 12.2: "We are pleased to announce the release of XigmaNAS version 12.2.0.4.8008 'Ornithopter'. XigmaNAS 12.2.0.4.8008 is a direct upgrade for the EOL 12.1.0.4.xxxx branch. Changes: upgrade to FreeBSD 12.2-RELEASE P2; WebGUI code and framework improvements; upgrade Bash to 5.1-p4; upgrade Samba to 4.13.1; upgrade lighttpd to 1.4.58; upgrade arcconf to 3_04_23699; upgrade zoneinfo to 2020f; upgrade msmtp to 1.8.14; upgrade smartmontools to 7.2; upgrade minidlna 1.3.0; upgrade syncthing to 1.12.1; upgrade ProFTPd to 1.3.7a; upgrade PHP to 7.4.14; upgrade Nano to 5.5. Fixes: fix only first lagg member is brought up; fix reload issue. XigmaNAS (formerly NAS4Free) is an embedded open-source NAS (Network-Attached Storage) distribution based on FreeBSD. XigmaNAS supports sharing across multiple operating systems, including Windows, Apple and UNIX-like systems. XigmaNAS is easy to set up in most home and enterprise environments and will allow to manage and share large amounts of data easily across a network. XigmaNAS also incorporates many different streaming features for sharing multimedia with other devices on the network. XigmaNAS includes ZFS v28 (RAIDZ, RAIDZ2 and RAIDZ3) Software RAID (0,1,5), Disk Encryption, S.M.A.R.T / Email Reports, and it supports the following protocols: CIFS (samba), FTP, NFS, TFTP, AFP, RSYNC, Unison, iSCSI (initiator and target), HAST, CARP, Bridge, UPnP, and BitTorrent. All are highly configurable by using a web interface.

The new release upgrades the underlying system to FreeBSD 13.2 and discontinues support for the GEOM RAID5 storage module. Michael Zoon has announced the release of XigmaNAS 12.1.0.4, the latest stable version of the project's embedded, open-source NAS (Network-Attached Storage) distribution based on FreeBSD. This version upgrades the underlying FreeBSD base system to version 12.1: "We are pleased to announce the release of XigmaNAS version 12.1.0.4.7091 - Ingva. The 12.1 series does replace and upgrade the 12.0.0.4 series which are now unsupported. We suggest to upgrade your 12.0.0.4 servers to 12.1.0.4.7091 or latest 11.3.0.4.xxxx series.
