MakuluLinux
MakuluLinux is a rolling-release, desktop distribution based either on Ubuntu's LTS (long-term support) release or Debian's "Testing" branch. It includes pre-installed multimedia codecs, device drivers and software for everyday use. MakuluLinux comes in four editions: "LinDoz" - featuring the Cinnamon desktop with the user interface customised to resemble that of Microsoft Windows, "Core" - presenting a highly customised Xfce desktop environment, "Flash" - providing a standard Xfce desktop, and finally "Shift" - delivering a pre-configured GNOME desktop environment.

A community edition is available for free download, while commercial editions also include technical support. Zentyal Server is an Ubuntu-based server distribution that aims at offering an easy-to-use Linux alternative to Windows Server. The project's latest release is Zentyal Server 7.0 which is based on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. "Zentyal Development Team today announced the availability of Zentyal Server Development Edition 7.0. This is a new major community release of the Zentyal Linux Server, based on Ubuntu Server 20.04 LTS. This version comes with the most recent versions of all the integrated software, including Samba 4.11 and the latest stable SOGo version. Zentyal Server provides an easy-to-use Linux alternative to Windows Server. Thanks to the integration of Samba, Zentyal provides native compatibility with the Microsoft Active Directory and allows transparent management of Windows clients. "Zentyal development team today announced the availability of Zentyal Server Development Edition 6.1, a new minor release of the Zentyal Linux Server. Important enhancements to Zentyal Server Development Edition 6.1 include: based on Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS; integration of SOGo 4.1; pagination of users (domain and directory) - with a large number of users it was difficult to manage the 'Users and Computers' section and the GUI load increased significantly and we have now added pagination of users to avoid these issues; search option is also available; shared roster bug (ejabbered) - you can now see the groups and users in ejabbered; dynamic DNS bug - dynamic DNS updates work now; OpenVPN upgrade bug - OpenSSL update broke OpenVPN, this has been fixed now." The new Zentyal build upgrades the underlying system to Ubuntu's latest long-term supported release, version 18.04: "The Zentyal development team is proud to announce Zentyal Server 6.0, a new release of the Zentyal open-source Linux server with native Microsoft Active Directory interoperability. Zentyal Server 6.0 is based on the latest Ubuntu Sever 18.04.1 LTS and it comes with the most recent versions of the integrated software. The developers have published Zentyal Server 5.1 which is based on Ubuntu's 16.04 LTS release and offers improved hardware support. "Zentyal Server 5.1 is based on the latest Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS and comes with the most recent versions of all the integrated software. Most important new features and improvements include: Linux 4.13 - Ubuntu HWE kernel with support for recent hardware and not vulnerable to Meltdown and Spectre; new IDS/IPS module; new FTP module; integration of SOGo 4.0; integration of ejabberd 17.07. The new release is based on Ubuntu 14.04.3 and ships with Samba 4.3.1. The new version of Zentyal Server improves compatibly with modern versions of Microsoft Windows and Outlook.
