Impi Linux
Impi Linux was a complete desktop operating system based on the Ubuntu operating system. Impi Linux focuses on providing operating platform solutions which cater for the needs of private sector and government users of all sizes, where stability, security and scalability are of utmost importance. Impi Linux was fully compatible with Ubuntu, meaning that any one of the 14,000 software packages available in the Ubuntu "Universe" repository can be loaded onto any Impi Linux distribution at any time.

Zen Linux 1.2 has been released: "We have something really special for you this time around. A lot of work has been put into creating a highly stable release. New frameworks have been added and we have the beginning of our GUI tools! We have a very intelligent GUI framework as well as a full Debian menu system integration! Also included are the very latest GNOME, KDE, XFce, and even Enlightenment DR17! This release adds a few new flavors to the official ISO set for your enjoyment." Read the rest of the release announcement for more information. The Zen Linux mirrors are still in the process of being populated; in the meantime, the ISO images can be downloaded via BitTorrent. Zen Linux 1.1, code name "Shitake" (which, incidentally, means "mushroom" in Japanese), has been released: "Zen Linux v1.1 (Shitake) release is now available. Highlights: Unionfs is now in the initrd phase - it is now possible to apt-get new packages while running via the live CD and all changes made to the live system will be transferred to disk during install. Added the Zen Linux Conversions Framework - it is now possible to convert Core to another 'flavor' such as GNOME or KDE." See the release announcement for further details. The ISO images are in the process of being uploaded to mirror sites; in the meantime you can obtain the three flavours of Zen Linux 1.1 via BitTorrent: ZenLinux_v1.1_Core.iso.torrent (344MB), ZenLinux_v1.1_Gnome.iso.torrent (635MB), ZenLinux_v1.1_KDE.iso.torrent (677MB).
