RISC OS
RISC OS is a computer operating system originally designed by Acorn Computers Ltd in Cambridge, England in 1987. RISC OS was specifically designed to run on the ARM chipset, which Acorn had designed concurrently for use in its new line of Archimedes personal computers. It takes its name from the RISC (reduced instruction set computing) architecture supported. Fast, compact and efficient, RISC OS is developed and tested by a loyal community of developers and users. RISC OS is not a version of Linux, nor is it in any way related to Windows, and it has a number of unique features and aspects to its design.

Condorux is a Debian-based live CD developed by the Peruvian Association of Free Software (APESOL). A preliminary release of a new version is now available for testing; it comes with Linux kernel 2.4.26, GNOME 2.8, XFce 4, OpenOffice.org 1.1.4, GIMP 2.2 and many other applications. The focus of the distribution is to include educational software, especially software for children, as well as to provide wizards for most common configuration tasks. As this is a test release, the developers would appreciate your feedback, which should be sent to condorux at apesol.org. Read the release announcement (in Spanish) for more details. The 623MB Condorux ISO image can be downloaded for free, but you need to access the release announcement to obtain the link.
