Zenwalk Linux (formerly Minislack) is a Slackware-based GNU/Linux operating system with a goal of being slim and fast by using only one application per task and with a focus on graphical desktop and multimedia usage. Zenwalk features the latest Linux technology along with a complete programming environment and libraries to provide an ideal platform for application programmers. ZoneCD version 0.5 has been released. ZoneCD, created by PUBLICip, is a Morphix-based bootable CD with a collection of GNU/Linux software pre-configured to create a WiFi gateway. From the ZoneCD 0.5 release notes: "Recompiled the kernel (2.4.20) to support bandwidth shaping, PPTP, and IPsec. A new section for bandwidth management in Zone control that will be visible when you select ZoneCD version 0.5-1. Pump is no longer used to get an IP for eth0, dhclient is now used to obtain an IP for eth0. Replaced rdate with ntpdate. Added better validation/errors to boot dialog." The Public IP ZoneCD is a re-mastered variant of the Morphix CD. Public IP's ZoneCD is a bootable CD with a collection of GNU/Linux software pre-configured to create a WiFi gateway. The CD is a mini operating system with automatic hardware detection, and support for many graphics cards, sound cards and other peripherals. The gateway includes support for WiFi end-user authentication and web content filtering. Public IP ZoneCD is distributed under the GNU General Public License.

ZoneCD is a Morphix-based bootable CD with a collection of GNU/Linux software pre-configured to create a WiFi gateway. Version 0.6 has been released with the following changes: "Added USB as configuration medium option; added auto-configuration for Prism II/2 PCI and PCMCIA cards; added firmware and hostap utility for cards with SSF; added auto-reboot dialog configuration; added Samba 3.0.10, xdm 4.3.0, rxvt, poptop (pptpd), ppp, Asterisk, Zaptel 1.0.2; added PPTP passthru to open mode, added cron to [re]start nocat if it crashes; updated DansGuardian to 2.8.0...."
