The November 2002 release from MSC.Linux is now available for i686 processors. This brief announcement, claiming LSB certification, is the only indication of the new release. "MSC.Linux is the definitive cluster distribution designed for the most demanding computational environments in engineering and life sciences. A very brief announcement on the MSC.Linux's web site: "MSC.Linux IA-64 2002 (July) for the HP zx1 chipset is now available from the MSC.Linux FTP site." This is the download link: msccdrom_ia64_hpzx1.iso (701MB). Slightly more information can be found in the changelog and installation README, which also promises that "a release for other Itanium chipsets will be available soon." MSC.Linux is a specialist distributions which includes computer cluster management tools, graphical interface, web-based installation and system administration. More on the distribution's web site.

A new version of MSC.Linux (March 2002) is now available: "MSC.Linux 2002 (March) represents a high performance operating system that is tuned for scientific and technical applications. This Linux operating system is designed to be the basis of a turnkey Linux supercomputer offering for engineering and other vertical markets."
