Table Notes and Explanations

(Please refer to the table below.)
  • Select view:
  • To compare the software in this project to the software available in other distributions, please see our Compare Packages page.
  • Notes: In case where multiple versions of a package are shipped with a distribution, only the default version appears in the table. For indication about the GNOME version, please check the "nautilus" and "gnome-shell" packages. The Apache web server is listed as "httpd" and the Linux kernel is listed as "linux". The KDE desktop is represented by the "kdelibs" and "plasma-desktop" packages and the Xfce desktop by the "xfdesktop" package.
  • Colour scheme: green text = latest stable version, red text = development or beta version. The function determining beta versions is not 100% reliable due to a wide variety of versioning schemes.

Perhaps the distro is great, I don't know, but the product is "scam-ware" The "free" version DL rate is (no lie) about 2kb/sec. If you want it for free, DL it on a computer you can devote a week to it untouched.

Or, you can pay for a faster DL link. So much for free. As far as open-source, there is no source-code available as the previous reviewer mentions.

I also did not see a live version available. I may be wrong, but haven't found it yet.

When software is labeled as free, it should never be incapable of being downloaded with any reasonable expectations. When it is labeled "open-source," it need to include links to the source as well.

The sarcasm cannot be overviewed, because the only (!) free download alternative (for an open-source project) will take 5 to 6 days(!!!), the server speed is about 2 (!!) kb/second, just to oblige you to get the paid download version, which is indeed much higher.

I love Arch Linux but this is absolutely no go!

By the way, where is the source code (mandatory for an open-source project)?

I am *very* angry and sad about such methods, because they are destroying the real sense of open source distribution!

Such practices should really be prohibited by law, i take this arrogance (2 kb/s download offer) as an insult against myself!

Please believe me, i wil never ever try again audiophile linux, which i will ban from yet on and for lifetime!
