Table Notes and Explanations
  • Select view: Major packages only (52) All tracked packages (206)
  • Notes: In case where multiple versions of a package are shipped with a distribution, only the default version appears in the table. For indication about the GNOME version, please check the 'libgnome' and 'nautilus' packages. As per the Apache project's recommendations, apache 1.3.x is referred to as "apache", while apache 2.x is referred to as "httpd".
  • Colour scheme: green text = latest stable version, red text = development or beta version. The function determining beta versions is not 100% reliable due to a wide variety of versioning schemes.

Note: The Ankur Bangla web site claims that this distribution is based on Morphix. However, the live CD seems to be an rpm-based distribution with "rpm -qa" returning a list of what appears to be Mandrake-made RPMs. The CD includes a "/MorphixCD" directory with a missing dpkg database. The above package versions refer to the Mandrake RPMs as returned by "rpm -qa".
