Kaleb Marshall has released the second beta build of TinyMe 2010, a lightweight, desktop-oriented mini-distribution based on Unity Linux: "TinyMe 2010 beta 2 is here. TinyMe is a Unity-based distribution targeted at older computers and people who want a very light and fast desktop environment. This release offers many upgrades, bug fixes, and new features. You'll find that the look and feel of TinyMe is smoother than ever. Changelog: update to kernel 2.6.31.9; update to X.Org Server 1.7 (the ATI proprietary driver for X.Org Server 1.7 is not yet available; live CD asks user to set up time zone and keyboard; on first boot after install, user is asked to set root password and create a new user; various packages added to enable networking; VirtualBox mouse and keyboard integration seemed to magically start working with the kernel upgrade...."
