Development Release: Elive 1.9.51 (Unstable) |
 |
Samuel Baggen has released a new development build of Elive, a Debian-based live CD with Enlightenment 17: "The Elive team is proud to announce the release of development version 1.9.51." What's new? "Compressed file system - if you have a computer with a tiny hard disk (like Eee PC 2 GB SSD), you can now install Elive using a compressed file system so that the entire system will fit in 1 GB; shared folders implementation with extra fixes and features; no CD required - there is no need to burn the ISO on a CD-ROM anymore, you can easily install or reinstall by simply pointing to the ISO image on the hard drive and reboot; VPN extra support; 'toram' - feature fixed; OSS - audio extra support (good for games); Catalan - option from the boot selector fixed; Linux kernel version 2.6.30." Here is the brief release announcement. Download: elive_1.9.51_unstable.iso (684MB, MD5). |
