Development Release: Elive 1.9.29 (Unstable) |

Samuel Baggen has released Elive 1.9.29 "Compiz" edition, a new development build of the Debian-based live CD featuring Enlightenment 17 with 3D desktop effects: "The Elive team is proud to announce the development release of Elive Compiz, version 1.9.29. Work is being focused on improving the next stable release of Elive 2.0, yet we are glad to have available an improved Compiz edition of Elive. Changes: big rewrite of hibernation support in Elive, with many extras, such as cleanup of old hibernated partitions; many bug fixes and features in the installer; fixed broken messages (dialog boxes) during boot in live mode; a simple webcam viewer has been added to video menu of applications; improved 3D acceleration of Intel graphics cards; the Compiz cube effect works again...."
