Development Release: Magic Linux 2.1 RC3 |
| The third release candidate for Magic Linux 2.1, a Chinese community distribution based on Fedora, is out and ready for testing. Changes since RC2: updated Linux kernel to version 2.6.25.17, X.Org to 7.4 (xorg-server 1.5.1), Mozilla Firefox to 3.0.3, Amarok to 1.4.10, ALSA to 1.0.18rc3, Wine to 1.1.4 (still no fix for the Chinese input problem); fixed a plugdev bug where additional users could not automount devices; Bluetooth fixes (manual daemon start-up is needed before using Bluetooth); known issue - the new 'ati' and 'nv' X.Org drivers do not always work correctly; experimental support for upgrading from RC2 with 'smart upgrade'; added stock GNOME 2.24 packages....
