Development Release: Astaro Security Gateway 7.2 Beta |
| The first public beta of Astaro Security Gateway, an integrated firewall and gateway distribution, is available for testing: "Astaro invites you to participate in the Astaro Beta test program. The new ASG V7.200 features an improved Instant Messaging (IM) and Peer-to-peer (P2P) detection engine, including Skype blocking, an updated IPS engine and Linux kernel, as well as bug fixes and other improvements. What's new? Exceptions for IM/P2P; Skype detection, blocking and alerting; bandwidth management (QoS) for IM/P2P protocols; filter web content on Mime-Type or Content-Type. Besides these new features, the new release includes kernel bug fixes and updates that increase the stability and extend the supported hardware."
