NEW • Development Release: SLAX 6.0.0 RC4 |
| The fourth release candidate of SLAX 6.0.0, a Slackware-based mini live CD, is available for download and testing: "This is SLAX 6 release candidate 4, including a few modules and 27 languages. SLAX 6 rc4 includes Linux Kernel 2.6.21.5, KDE 3.5.7 and the newest technologies from Linux-Live, Squashfs and Slackware current. Language modules: simply download the directory for your language and copy it over SLAX, overwriting the original initrd.gz file. Firefox and Thunderbird modules: these are created from Slackware packages, but I modified them, because Mozilla applications look so ugly in Linux. Now they are very nice."
