Development Release: Yoper Linux 3.0 RC2 |
| Tobias Gerschner has announced the second release candidate for Yoper Linux 3.0, an independent, desktop-oriented distribution optimised for i686 processors: "The Yoper team is proud to announce the second release candidate of Yoper Linux, codename 'Ilmenite MKII'. This release candidate is available in three fashions - as a slim CD, a regular CD and a live CD. A DVD edition will not be released at this point, but will be available for the final release. This release ships with Kernel 2.6.21.1 including the Con Kolivas patch set, X.Org 7.2, KDE 3.5.7, KOffice, Firefox 2.0.0.4 and lots of other cutting-edge packages.
