NEW • Development Release: Yoper Linux 3.0 RC1 |
| Tobias Gerschner has announced the availability of the first release candidate of Yoper Linux 3.0: "The Yoper team is proud to announce the first release candidate of Yoper Linux 3.0, codename 'Ilmenite'. This release candidate is available in three fashions - as a slim CD, a regular CD, and a live CD. A DVD version will not be released at this point, but will be available for the final release. This release ships with kernel 2.6.21.1, including the Con Kolivas patchset, X.Org 7.2, KDE 3.5.6, KOffice, Firefox 2.0.0.3 and lots of other cutting-edge packages."
