Development Release: Frenzy 1.1 Beta |
| Sergei Mozhaisky has announced the first beta release of Frenzy 1.1, a light-weight FreeBSD-based live CD with a collection of utilities for security and forensic analyses. New features in this release include: support for Unionfs; experimental inclusion of "fem-modules" (Frenzy extension modules); option to boot from ISO image on hard disk; optional "combined boot" from CD and USB storage device; new boot parameter 'no-fem' to exclude loading Frenzy extension modules; new "devel" scripts; support for large MS DOS partitions; new "wheel" group with write privileges to mounted hard disk partitions.
