Development Release: VLOS 1.3.1 RC1 |
| The VLOS project has announced the availability of the first release candidate of VLOS 1.3.1: "VLOS 1.3.1-rc1 is ready for download. This release includes the following updates and enhancements: updated to latest udev and dbus; new modular KDE-VLOS with revamped new look using new Kickoff menu; updated to Beryl 0.1.2, GNOME 2.16.2, KDE 3.5.5; new theme and icons in GNOME; updated ATI and NVIDIA drivers; Songbird now included as media player; new webcam driver; new rt73 driver for the RaLink RT73/2571 wireless chipset; new hardware auto-detection system based on udev and hotplug; faster boot time; new X.Org with AIGLX support; updated Azureus to latest version."
