Distribution Release: ROCK Linux 3 |

ROCK Linux is a flexible Distribution Build Kit. It can be used for building your own Linux distributions. Version 3 of the ROCK Linux is released. From the announcement: "It took a bit over 20 months, but finally, ROCK 3 is done. Over the last 20 months, ROCK Linux has seen many changes not only in the code, but also in its aim and social relations... Creating a distribution is a complex task. ROCK makes this task a lot easier. Many changes since the last release have gone into enhancing the example distribution - Crystal ROCK - to be a good reference for what is possible." | ROCK Linux es una distribución Linux con un proceso potente de autoconstrucción(autobuild), diseñado para administradores Linux/Unix con experiencia y disponible para multiples plataformas. ROCK Linux es una distribución pequeña, pero no es una "mini distribución". Viene con más de 200 paquetes incluyendo X11 y el escritorio GNOME - pero excluyendo las herramientas de configuración que funcionan con menús (mucho usuarios profesionales prefieren archivos de configuración), pero una instalación razonablemente bien configurada debería ser útil para cualquier usuario de ordenador (incluidos principiantes).
