Development Release: Oralux 0.7 Alpha |

Oralux is a GNU/Linux distribution designed for blind or visually impaired people, using Emacspeak as its audio desktop. The project has announced the first development build of version 0.7: "Oralux 0.7 alpha is available. Oralux 0.7 alpha proposes three audio environments (Emacspeak, Yasr, Speakup), six languages (Brazilian Portuguese, English, French, German, Russian and Spanish), and Braille drivers (Brltty 3.7.2). Oralux 0.7 alpha is based on Knoppix 4.02 (kernel 2.6.12). Features: Emacspeak 23.0 by TV Raman plus patches by Igor B. Poretsky; Yasr 0.6.7 by Mike Gorse plus patches...."
