Arabian Linux is a beginner-friendly, Debian and Kurumin-based distribution with support for Arabic and English. The latest version is 0.6 RC1, released yesterday. What's new? "Kernel 2.6.13; X.Org 6.8.2; using LSB color system; interactive boot-up system; KDE 3.4.3 (compiled locally); several fixes in Unionfs and modules system; many bug fixes in the system structure; created a wizard manager for Arabian's installer (Arabic and English languages are supported); OpenOffice.org 2.0 final; comprehensive Linux textbook of Muayad Al-Sadi (Arabic version) updated; Holy Quran (for Arab Muslims); Java 1.5 enabled as default; Arabeyes / KACST Arabic TTF fonts; Arabic language is now enabled in consoles...."
