Development Release: Ubuntu Linux 5.10 Preview |
| A preview release of Ubuntu Linux 5.10 "Breezy Badger" is now ready for download and testing: "The Ubuntu team is proud to announce the Preview Release of Ubuntu 5.10 - codenamed "Breezy Badger". The Preview Release includes both Install CDs and bootable Live CDs for three architectures. The highlights include: GNOME 2.12 - very fresh... released yesterday; OpenOffice.org 2.0 beta 2; X.org 6.8.2 with wider hardware support; an enhanced tool for easily installing new applications; a new tool which makes it easy to install support for multiple languages...."
