Distribution Release: Gnoppix 1.0 |
| The developers of the Ubuntu-based Gnoppix project have released the first stable version of their live CD: "The Gnoppix project presents version 1.0 of the Gnoppix Linux live CD. Gnoppix 1.0 can be downloaded for the Intel i386 platform here. PowerPC and AMD64 platforms will be ready soon. Gnoppix 1.0 comes with GNOME 2.10." The release announcement can be read on the distribution's home page. Download from one of the Gnoppix mirrors: gnoppix-1.0-i386.iso (649MB, MD5). Besides Gnoppix 1.0, a development build based on a snapshot of Ubuntu "Breezy Badger" and featuring a preview version of GNOME 2.11 has also been released. |
