Development Release: Progeny Debian 3.0 Preview 1 |
| The first preview release of Progeny Debian 3.0 Developer Edition is now available for testing: "I'm pleased to announce that Progeny Debian 3.0 Developer Edition, Preview Release 1, has been released. This release has mostly been a shakedown for the new Platform Development Kit, and so there are not very many changes. We are mostly up to date with Debian sarge as of April 18. As part of this migration, the repository layout has changed; all the components are now in one big 'main' apt component, and there are no comps.xml fragments. We are planning to continue support for components maintained with comp-get and comp2repo until we have a better solution, however, so external components should still work."
