Development Release: Turkix 10.0 Alpha |
| This is the first development release of Turkix 10.0, a Turkish live CD (with an option to install it on hard disk) based on Mandrakelinux. Unlike the previous versions, which only supported Turkish and Azerbaijani languages, version 10.0 is an international edition with full i18n support in KDE (default is English). Changes since Turkix 3.0 include the following: "i18n; Firefox and Thunderbird instead of Mozilla Suite; some new configuration tools; new desktop structure." | Turkix is a Turkish live CD Linux distribution based on Mandrakelinux. As it uses Mandrake's configuration tools and KDE, it is extremely easy to use, and it has a fancy look and feel. Turkix aims to introduce Linux to Turkish and Azerbaijani speakers without any prior Linux experience. |
