Development Release: Progeny Debian 2.0 RC2 |
| The second release candidate of Progeny Debian 2.0, Developer Edition, has been released: "We have just released Release Candidate 2 of Progeny Debian 2.0, Developer Edition. Some highlights: crashes in Anaconda that report problems with 'adbox' are now fixed; serial ATA is now supported.; the comp-get tool for managing components has been overhauled, and should work well, but because of the problems with the RC1 version of comp-get, people upgrading from RC1 are encouraged to use the upgrade instructions in the release notes; many updates from Debian sarge; the Eclipse and Tomcat components have been removed, as the versions available in Debian are old."
