Development Release: Trustix Secure Linux 2.1 BETA 1 |
| The first beta of the upcoming Trustix Secure Linux 2.1 has been released: "This is the README file for Trustix Secure Linux 2.1 Beta 1, also known as 'Snow'. Note that this is considered beta software and not recommended for production use. All suggestions and bug reports are much appreciated, we would especially like testing and feedback on these new features: Samba with kerberos in an Active Directory environment; the new BIND package structure (with better support for rndc and zone xfers); we've introduced IBM's stack smashing protector patch to GCC in this release, and like all changes to the compiler toolset, this means that we would like you to test that your favourite software still works as desired..." The full announcement. Download: trustix-2.0.90.i586.iso (334MB).
