Development Release: Haydar Linux Beta 2 |
| Haydar Linux is back with a new beta: "We are happy to release Haydar Linux Beta2." You can get it here: HL-Beta2.iso (650MB). Haydar Linux claims to be the first Linux distribution with full Arabic support. Although based on Red Hat Linux, GNOME packages are missing from the distribution and KDE is its only desktop environment. Haydar's other speciality is its graphical installer called "Buraq" which supports Arabic, Dutch and English. The project released its first beta in April this year and the final release of Haydar Linux 1.0 is expected next month. Visit the Haydar Linux web site (English or Arabic) for more information.
