Distribution Release: Cosix 3.1 |

Cosix Linux, a Beijing-based Linux distribution has released Cosix Linux 3.1. Officially announced on 1 July, but it's only today that the desktop edition of the product was made available for download: cosixlinux31dt_i386_cd.iso (637MB). The product description page lists all the new features, but even if you don't understand Chinese, the page includes some nice screenshots to look at. Besides the download edition there is also a boxed product which sells for the equivalent of less than US$10 in China; this page provides links to several Chinese online stores.
