NEW • Development Release: Magic Linux 2.1 RC2 |
| The second release candidate for Magic Linux 2.1, a Chinese community distribution which uses the RPM package management system and which is optimised for the i686 processor architecture, is out. Some of the changes since RC1 include: various improvements and bug fixes applied to the system installer; upgrade to Linux kernel 2.6.25.16; upgrade to KDE 3.5.10, miscellaneous bug fixes to module-init-tools and wireless-tools; upgraded FreeType to version 2.3.7, Fontconfig to 2.6.0; various other upgrades, including version upgrade to xine, GPhoto, SQLite, Poppler and Wine; bug fixes in KTorrent and NTFS-3G.
