NEW • Development Release: Dreamlinux 3.0 Beta 2 |
| The second beta release of Dreamlinux 3.0, a Debian-based desktop distribution with a Mac OS X-like user interface, is out and ready for testing: "We are proud to announce that Dreamlinux 3.0 beta is now available for download. Main changes: Linux kernel 2.6.23.12; support for a large variety of wireless cards; two window managers - Xfce and GNOME; a balanced set of applications, aiming to deliver an easy-to-use desktop system; the installer and the Dreamlinux Control Panel were improved technically and visually; the proprietary codecs were removed, but are easily installed at any time by Easy Install; AWN (Advanced Window Navigator) is included, together with the traditional Engage.
