NEW • Development Release: JackLab Audio Distribution 1.0 Alpha 3 |
| The JackLab project has announced the third alpha release of JackLab Audio Distribution 1.0, an openSUSE-based distribution designed for musicians, producers and media creators: "Some bug fixes, some new features - the third developer's release is available now. Changelog: the default kernel will be realtime kernel 2.6.19; added pre-configured Smart and Smart-GUI for updates (Smart is now the default JAD update package manager); added a JAD GTK+ theme as default; updated Jack to version 0.103; changed *.desktop for AMS and Aeolus; added rar and unrar; added new WINE and WineAsio, a compatibility layer for Windows audio applications using the low latency ASIO as Jack client."
