NEW • Distribution Release: SLAX 5.1.7 |
| After two release candidates, Tomas Matejicek announced the availability of SLAX 5.1.7: "The final version of SLAX 5.1.7 has been released. Compared to 5.1.6, the new version fixes some bugs regarding the 'load' cheatcode, it adds and upgrades several boot options (like noswap, noauto, from= and changes=/dev...) and added new cleanup scripts to correctly handle shutdown procedures." Check the list of changes since 5.1.6 here. Download: slax-5.1.7.iso (196MB, MD5). Update: SLAX 5.1.7 was renamed to 5.1.7b on July 27; the SLAX developer had 5.1.7 "reuploaded to FTP as 5.1.7b (http mirror was broken somehow and this is the only way for me to refresh it)." |
