NEW • Development Release: Edubuntu 6.04 Flight CD 2 |
| Following the recent release of new Ubuntu "Dapper" development CDs, the Edubuntu project has also released its "Flight CD": "As always, a little later than the other Ubuntu flavours, the Edubuntu team is happy to announce the first milestone CD image in the Dapper development cycle. Apart from the notable changes in this release that apply to all Ubuntu flavours, the following additional enhancements have gone into this CD images: themed graphical login manager for the LTSP clients; preparation for the Ubuntu boot splash on LTSP clients; support for multiple architectures; the first Edubuntu live CD has finally made it, it contains all of the Edubuntu workstation install and is available for all 3 supported architectures."
