NEW • Development Release: Underground Desktop 020 |
| Underground Desktop is a desktop-oriented, i686-optimised Linux distribution based on Arch Linux. A new development version has been released for download and testing: "The first ISO image of the new cycle of Underground Desktop, based on Arch Linux, has been uploaded to the server. This is a development release, so don't expect to find everything in place and working. The installer has been written from scratch and may be unstable. Installation to SCSI disks is not yet supported (IDE only). Install at your own risk. Anyway, here is what you will find in this release: a Reiser4 root filesystem after installation; KDE 3.5 RC1; kernel 2.6.14 optimized for desktop performance; 600+ MB of software...."
